Labor is the largest variable on any job. From a labor perspective, small jobs and repairs, by their nature, are very inefficient. The most commonly used method to consistently account for these inefficiencies in labor is to apply a minimum labor charge. While you can create line items to handle the minimum charges in Xactimate, you can also automate the application of minimum labor charges. Xactimate uses the values associated to line items to automatically calculate the minimum charge.
