Factor markets

Factoring allows you to change prices by a percentage instead of by a dollar amount. When you factor Xactware price list items, they will be marked as a custom item.

1.   Click Home.

2.   Click Factor Markets.

3.   Choose the markets you want to factor.

4.   Select the action:

•       Decrease

•       Increase

5.   Enter the rate of change.

6.   Select the items/components to be factored. You can select specific items/components, all items in a category, or all items/components in a market.

7.   Repeat steps 4 - 6 for any components or items not previously factored.

8.   Click Factor Prices.

It will take some time to calculate and apply the new prices to your price list.
